I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science and co-director of the Global Studies program at the University of Illinois, Springfield.
I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Syracuse University's Maxwell School in 2014. Prior to joining UIS, I was a visiting predoctoral fellow at Northwestern University's Buffett Institute for Global Studies.
My research has been published in the European Journal of Political Research, British Journal of Politics and International Relations, Journal of European Public Policy and European Political Science, among others. My book project, Governing Abroad, investigates the impact of coalition politics, party ideology and legislative dynamics on the international commitments of parliamentary regimes.
At UIS, I teach undergraduate and graduate courses on international relations and foreign policy, European and Middle Eastern politics, and research methods.
Thanks for visiting!
